Microsoft Project/Visio - How to access or install
Microsoft Project and Visio are both add-on products for Microsoft Office that are not included in the Office 365 suite installation package. Students have two options to use Project or Visio software. It can be downloaded and installed on your personal Windows computer (Windows 10 or Windows 11), or accessed by connecting to a virtual desktop using VMware. If you are using a Mac or Chromebook, scroll down to option 2.
Option 1: Download and Install
Use the link below to register and download Microsoft Project or Visio software to your PC. You must use your Bristol email to self-register. This is probably the best option if you have a computer running Windows 10 or above.
Note: If using this option, it is recommended that you have the latest version of Office already installed on your computer before installing Project or Visio. The latest Office suite is available with your Bristol Office 365 subscription and can be downloaded from your Office 365 dashboard page.
