myBristol - Setup My Account
WHEN CREATING YOUR MYBRISTOL ACCOUNT, PLEASE USE EITHER MOZILLA FIREFOX OR GOOGLE CHROME. DO NOT USE SAFARI OR MICROSOFT EDGE.
SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT
Starting at the myBristol page (my.bristolcc.edu), click the "Setup My Account" option and create your account password. Your USERNAME IS ON THESE SCREENS. Make note of it or come back here and start this again.
1. You will need your Student ID number also known as your 900 number. The student ID number is provided in your acceptance letter to the school in the personal email address that you used to apply. If you are unable to retrieve the number, give Enrollment a call at 774.357.2590 or email at enrollmentsrv@bristolcc.edu You may also call the helpdesk at 774-357-3333
2. You will be asked for the last four digits of your social security number. If after typing in the last four digits it does not work, please then try using the last four digits of your Bristol 900 number instead.

3. You will now be asked to create a new password. Please make sure you adhere to the policies, or it will reject your password. You cannot use any previous passwords, It also cannot have anything to do with your first or last name. Your password must contain at least 15 characters, a number, a special character (#,$,%,@,!,*), Capital letter. There cannot be consecutive numbers in a row such as 333 or 123.
MAKE NOTE ON THIS SCREEN IS YOUR USERNAME – write it down.
After this step, you will be logged out and back at the myBristol login screen
You will be prompted to update your MFA (Multi-factor authentication) and make sure that you have Email and Phone Recovery options configured along with an Authenticator App such as Microsoft or Google Authentication
4. Sign into myBristol with your new password
5. You may be prompted to enter your password again; this will bring you to the page to update/ verify your MFA
6. Please go through your Account Recovery Settings and make sure all the tabs are green, you may have to configure the Authenticator tab. You may have to do the Email and Phone setup if those tabs are not green.
7. To setup the Authenticator please download either Microsoft or Google Authentication apps to your mobile device and follow the Get Started instructions.
8. Once all your tabs are green like below, click on the Go to My Apps button at the bottom of the page to complete your account Recovery Settings
9. This will log you off and require you to sign back into myBristol with your new password and your MFA.
