To fix a non-connecting Dell WD19 dock, first try removing the USB-C connector plugged into the laptop then a power cycle by unplugging the round power cord from the back of the dock, holding the power button for 30 seconds, and then reconnecting the USB-C cord first to the laptop and then connecting the power brick . Press the circle power button on the dock if the light on the USB-C cable is not lit.
- Perform a power cycle: Unplug the USB-C cable from your laptop and disconnect the AC power from the dock. Press and hold the dock's power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power. Then, plug the AC adapter back into the dock, wait for the light to blink three times, and reconnect the USB-C cable to your laptop.
- Inspect cables and ports: Ensure the USB-C cable and power adapter are securely connected to both the dock and the power outlet. Check for any physical damage to the cables or the ports.
- Verify power adapter: Make sure you are using the correct power adapter for the dock and that the cable is connected to the dock's power adapter port.
Next, open the laptop and log in with Ctrl-Alt-Del. Once on the desktop, hold the Windows Key and tap the letter "P". This will show a menu for display/Project. Choose Duplicate to choose all the screen the same or Extend,
