Posting VoiceThread Comments
This tutorial explains how to post comments on a VoiceThread.
Step 1:
Click on the link your instructor has provided in their course site.
Step 2:
Click the Start Assignment button.
Step 3:
Click on the Comment button along the bottom of the VoiceThread and choose the type of comment you would like to make:

ABC - Type a text comment.

Phone - Audio comments via telephone (toll free.)

Microphone - Audio comments via the microphone on your computer.

Camera - Video comments via the webcam on your computer.

Up Arrow - Upload a pre-recorded audio or video file from your computer.
Step 4:
If you chose microphone or camera, you will be prompted to allow VoiceThread to access your camera/microphone. Click the Allow button. If you chose ABC or Phone, skip this step.
Step 5:
VoiceThread will give you a 4-3-2-1 countdown and will then begin recording. Speak your comment into your microphone. You may also click on the pencil button to draw on the VoiceThread slide(s) as you speak. Click the red square stop recording button when you are done.
Step 6:
Review your comment recording and click the Save button if you are happy with it, click Cancel to re-record, or click Record More to keep recording.
Step 7:
If this is a graded activity, you will see a Submit button along the right side of the page. Click on it if you see it.
Your comment has now been posted. If this was a graded discussion, your comment(s) have also been submitted to your instructor for grading.
